    tell me your background hates...

Yeah, I'm always annoyed with drawing backgrounds. I do have a few cheats, tho. On The Fuzzy Princess the way I do it is to keep the building simplified, usually keeping them in close-ups so that all I have to draw are the windows and doors. If inside a room, I would just draw the floor, maybe...

Thoughts on Doing Multiple Comics at Once?

I do two webcomics simultaneously. The way I figure is having a different pace for each is a good idea. For example, one of the comics is gag-only, so I do that once a week, while my other one is more involved, so it's three times a week. So if you can figure out how to pace your comics, that...

    Inktober Cartoon Fun!

So Inktober is always my favorite event, something I take part every year. It's always a struggle to do a piece daily, but I try to keep up with it whenever I can. Usually whenever I do this, I draw my comic characters, although I occasionally do something else, too. Here's what I've done so far!

    What Conventions Do You Attend?

Small Press Expo ended up being more fun than expected. Sold about half of the books I took with me (and I brought a lot). Also got to meet just about every editor I've worked with, and met a lot of neat creators (including those I've met before) and bought a bunch of books. Hoping to go to SPX...

Webcomic Avenue - I am here to help :)

Speaking from experience, about 3 pages a week is good. I think updating daily might be overwhelming to some, especially for longer works. Although if it's a newspaper strip format, daily isn't bad.

Thanks for responding! Yeah, the more I hear about it, the more I'm excited for it. Definitely going to give it a go once it's ready! Also, is it safe to assume you can queue pages in advance? I literally have months-long buffer for my comics, so it would be great that I can do that.
